Maegan & Nick

Mercedes Says...

They say you never forget your first, and what can I say about these many memories! This was one of our very first Austin weddings and one I will never forget. Maegan came in very well prepared and was on a mission to find her perfect match in a florist, perfect for her, perfect for this extremely important day that you simply can't replicate. She wanted the color of her main flower to match her bright coral bridesmaids dresses and we did it! We found the PERFECT rose and having done that we were certain that we were the ones for her, but like I always say both parties have to feel it and at this point, Maegan was still not 100% sure about us. My heart was broken when I thought I had lost her and Nick.

Weeks went by and I had decided to move on, but one day out of the blue, there in my inbox was her email that read "If it's not too late I want you to do my flowers"! I was elated and from that moment on Maegan and I were a team and actually became good friends. It turns out that she picked us after surveying 13 different florists! Thirteen!?! It was then I knew we were on to something magical and doing things right. :)

The Designs

We used the coral rose “Manitou” as the focal flower for her bridesmaids and centerpieces. For the all white bridal bouquet we incorporated oriental lilies and for the pop of green we chose our signature decorative white and green kale as well as green hydrangeas. She was in love and so were we!

The Client Says...

We just got married and Mercedes Flowers was by far the best florist in Austin (I would know, I went to about 13 different florists before choosing Mercedes...) I felt 100% comfortable with our wedding in the hands of the girls at Mercedes. It is hard to picture flower arrangements, so Mercedes even made a mock-up of our centerpieces just so I could get an idea what it would look like on the big day. The bouquets and table arrangements were so beautiful! And our flowers were still fresh a week after our wedding. Mercedes really gets your vision and works to please.... Hands down best florist in Austin!
